About Tailor's Touch

Tailoring with a second life in mind

We reshape garments with careful fittings, clear scope, and practical advice for pieces worth keeping.

Tailor's Touch is an appointment-led tailoring studio in Saint-Léonard focused on alterations, remodelling, and upcycling. We work with garments that need a better fit, a refreshed shape, or a new purpose.

Every project begins with an assessment of the garment, its construction, and the requested result. From there, we outline the scope, discuss the concept, and confirm the work before anything begins.

What guides us

Values behind the work

Our approach is simple: assess carefully, communicate clearly, and work with the garment in front of us.

01

Assessment first

We begin with the garment itself, looking at fabric, seams, condition, and fit limits before discussing any quote or design direction.

02

Thoughtful redesign

For redesign work, concept approval matters. We review the idea, confirm what the existing material can support, and then move ahead with the agreed scope.

03

Clear scope

We keep alteration scopes written and practical so the requested work, fitting limits, and finish expectations are easy to understand.

04

Wear more, replace less

Our work is shaped around reuse, repair, and longer wear, especially for vintage pieces and garments with personal meaning.
